I think they work well.

I've read reviews about the fabric of these filters, wondering whether the water just runs right off the slick surface. I'm not sure what it does, but it is a different fabric from the natural-feeling fabric of the original ones that came with the distiller. I'm assuming they do what they're meant to do.
Fit the machine and worked fine

I just distilled a galon of water using this filter. It worked just fine. The paper is a little thick but it fit into the container spout with no problem. Gave a 4 because I cant say how long it will last.
Water takes path of least resistance, and the paper used on these seems almost water resistant.

Update: these are useless I tried everything and like other people have said you can put water in them and they will still be full 20 minutes later. These are more like a plastic bag than a filter. Going to have to use a tea bag and some good charcoal since no one seems to be selling filters that work,

They seem to have a good amount of charcoal in them, but the ones I have here seem to be almost water proof. When I tried to rinse the one I was going to use the paper the charcoal is raped in seems water resistant and the water runs right off the thing. I ground it between my figures to see if it needed to be worn a little and water just runs right off the thing.
I know being in the distiller spout the water will run around it and into the glass bottle, not through it and the charcoal. Water takes the path of least resistance and the paper they used on these is not least resistance. I'm going to just throw these into my pitcher and let the water soak on them till I get some that I like better.
I'm not sure anymore as to why even have the filters in the first place. Someone mentioned the charcoal is used to put a little carbon something into the water so it isn't completely void and wont take in as much carbon dioxide out of the air, or so that's the thought I guess.
Seem large compared to other filters.

Very large packets compared to what came with the distiller ... I guess they are working fine. This is my first month to use one. Seems a fine product & I like them so far. I will update any changes necessary after a long use.
Distiller filters work great

I use these filters with a Megahome distiller. I had to use 2 Megahome filters for each distillation but these are larger so I can use just one. These produce clean tasting water with no odor. I would definitely recommend them.
