Works great on Acrylic
80s dudeJune 17, 2017
Works great on Acrylic. Have used on other plastics with mixed results. Can repair cracks on styrenes but it will cloud the area. Sanding with 1000 & 1500 grit and a polish will fix that. I use it to repair automotive lenses and reflectors. You may want to pick up a syringe as the application bottles, while nice, are a bit hard to control for fine application. I got mine from seller windridercreation, top notch service!
Strong solvent excelent results
Alan RobertsJune 10, 2017
Works extremely well and produces very strong assemblies.
It requires a bit of experience in use. It is a solvent rather than a glue. If it is dropped on something other than the appropriate plastics it just evaporates without causing any damage, paper, glass, wood etc. It is very fluid, viscosity is like water or alcohol. It needs to be controlled carefully when used on acrylic as drops, overruns etc will mark the finished product. A syringe or the included bottle and needle are useful applications. A brush might also work well. Joints need to be clamped together in close proximity and the solvent is just touched to the edge and capillary action draws the solvent quickly into the joint. I found it easier to set the joints horizontally to avoid the solvent running down the sides of the assembly. A careful set up results in a perfect item. I used it to make display cases 24 x 20 x 15 inches and they came out very well
Glues acrylic to acrylic

Glues acrylic to acrylic. Can't comment on longevity but so far, seems to be working well in our saltwater sump.
Works great, definitely need a steady quick hand though

Works great, definitely need a steady quick hand though, comes out very quickly! We made some boxes and did pretty good, be careful by tap areas, it tend to spread under tape (which we used to hold boxes together to glue). Also, it is very important as directed, both ends of plastic must meet for it to meld properly!
(Still working on finding a good technique for that

I'm using this product as a cement for PLA plastic (printed from my 3D Printer), and it works quite well. It took some getting used to the flow--it is quite viscous and can get away from you in a hurry if you are not careful. It can also be a challenge to pour, even though a funnel is provided. (Still working on finding a good technique for that.)
The seller was very prompt and provided great support materials, such as the dispensing bottle and funnel, as well as written instructions that were quite helpful. I would definitely recommend this seller for future purchases.
