There are two attitudes one can adopt when one realizes they have completely wasted $200: you can get mad, or you can invite friends over and laugh yourself silly. I encourage the second. What a party can be had when, as a group, you attempt to interpret Chinese-to-English instructions for a pretty inferior product. A fairly basic design is made unbelievably complicated with an unbelievable amount of unlabeled parts, some unexplainably impossible to use in the diagrams, which one must rely on because the instructions are incomprehensible. ("Make the cable through the tripod"). One is not forewarned when purchasing this made-for-laughs product that it must be anchored by a large balloon filled with water, or that the pieces that must be connected are often impossible to connect if one is not two inches tall and cannot fit inside the pipes. And pipes-a-plenty are provided with this product. E Pluribus Pipem. The only exercise this award-winner is going to facilitate is when you meet the inventor and beat him/her to death in a frenzy of frustration with one of these infernal pipes.

I purchased the Cross Body Trainer in December from a different location. The app works well with unit. I did have to contact Nexersys because my sensor was disconnecting from my phone. I contacted customer support and they shipped a new sensor out right away. With the new sensor I haven't had any problems.

I often do 30 minute workouts and it feels quick. I really enjoy the workouts. I also incorporate it with my other workouts using shorter times.

If I could recommend improvements: Add more tutorials on movement around the bag, lead slips, power slips, and bobs. Include connecting to a heart rate monitor.

I have the Nexersys Boxing unit (not the crossfit) and I love it. I purchased it used from another owner, so there were a few things I needed to replace. I emailed the customer service group and within 24 hours I had answers, within 5 days, I received all the items I was looking for. The Nexersys team has probably the best customer service response time I've ever seen. These guys are outstanding and their equipment is built to last.

This is a great piece of equipment especially for the price. I put it together myself and it was pretty easy. I usually have zero luck assembling equipment but this was very easy to follow. Originally the first sensor did not work but I emailed the company and they sent me a replacement by FedEx the next day. It was really great service I had simply sent an email explaining the problem. It is nice to get such great service! I bought my unit directly from the company it was cheaper at the time.

Ok it arrived super fast and is a well built piece. Is it worth the additional price of a traditional bag? I would say definitely no if you don't get the IPHONE integrated version as otherwise it is just a double ended bag with a nice frame.

The IPHONE deal works flawlessly overtime so far and even the kids love it. It makes the workout interesting which is why you are buying an expensive bag over a $50 tied to your rafters and a weight on the floor.

The one problem I have as a beginner is the bag is very fast even on the least tension setting. You can't bob back and fourth with the bag it is just bouncing back way to fast for a beginner or maybe even other levels. If you jab the bag as fast as you can jab again the bag is there, it is like a speed bag. Hard to develop a routine. You and up timing the bag vs using aim and position recognition. Think of turning your head as you keep hitting a speed bag at a set pace. You can do it all day unless you change pace or switch hands.

The fix??? I simply went to HD and bought some links to add length to the bungy cord and it has helped take the rebound speed out of the bag. I like getting into a routine while the bag is just bobbing on barely any tension and then when i advance I pull a little more speed into it.
