I was so excited about receiving these chairs and had hoped to use them for dining room chairs. However, when they arrived, despite the high comfort level, the look was not good at all. There is a white square-ish metal piece on the bottom of each chair that holds the legs. This piece is visible from every angle and makes this chair resemble one you might see in a school cafeteria. My husband thought maybe we could paint them, but it would still be very noticeable. I was very disappointed. Buyer beware, as you cannot see this metal piece on the photos. What you see is a metal disk, and those are on all legs, but then that piece connects to the square-ish thing... If you're going to use this chair in a space where you don't see the bottom, it is very comfortable.

I bought this chair in patchwork for my pre-teen daughter's room and she absolutely loved it. It has very stylish, almost Scandinavian, design and funky feel because of the patchwork pattern. It is decently made, though definitely not a timeless piece you should plan to pass to your grandchildren. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. The reason I am giving this chair 4 stars and not 5, is the fact that my particular chair had different patches pattern from the one pictured and happened to be predominantly beige and grey, when I hoped for more orange and turquoise patches.
