These are rather shiney. I purchased red and liked them well enough but they were very tight and not stretchy or breathable. I ordered large and I typically wear medium/large in similar items. Not comfortable to wear for extended time.

I wore them to a music festival and they were overall comfy. I am 4'10 & 165lbs. I usually wear a L/XL in bottoms. I ordered these in a L and they fit OKAY. They weren't really stretchy enough to feel like they fit really well. The bottom part rolls up kinda often but it really isn't that bad of a bother. If you plan on wearing these alone as shorts, I suggest wearing thin, seamless undies or a thong because you could really notice underwear lines no matter how thin.

The shorts I received do not look like the advertised picture. If we would have received the shorts pictured they probably wouldn't be so skimpy on her. I ordered her the large size because of smaller sizes being out of stock. (Good thing I guess). Contemplating on sending them back. Not only because of the size and wrong kind but also that the color is blotchy on the front of them.

We have not laundered them yet -- my wife is not wearing them out gardening, that's for sure -- so we cannot speak for their logevity. But they seem well made, and the material seems like a good quality. Just a fun thing for a Saturday night.

First, about the color: I ordered the green. It's not really green, more like an almost green but not quite teal. It's hard to describe, but it's not green. As for the size, I wear a medium or small in most clothing items. At their widest my hips measure 37". I can get these on but the fit is very bizarre. For starters, these run very small. The width for the medium should more accurately be called XS. Then there's the crotch length. It's ridiculously too short. They fit more like a scoop front and back bikini cut. To get it to minimally cover my backside I had to pull the front very low, which twisted the hips and seams. They were very uncomfortable.
The fabric feels very plastic like, but I wasn't really expecting these to be durable. The metallic shine will quickly wear down. Again, this shouldn't be a surprise. The metallic look is from a superficial paint, it isn't part of the fabric.
I gave them an extra star simply because I didn't really have high expectations to begin with, so I'm not that disappointed. I figured it was worth a shot with Prime to check them out. Don't rely on the pictures because the color is nothing like it. The image is also deceiving because these have very little rise and do not fit like shorts through the waist and hips.
