Held out 24" tri toon like a champ. solid and works well. a little tall on the top so if you use a marine jaw swivel to attach it to chain or line get the big one. I got a 3/8" swivel and it was tight; had to bend it some. used a smaller one for chain to line, but use 3/8 or bigger for top of this one, it is tall. too wide for a 5 gallon bucket so i need a new idea for bow storage.

I have a 28 foot long quad toon. It has 4 pontoons under it. I purchased these anchors because two 20 pound anchors would not hold the pontoon in winds above 10 MPH. This is on a freshwater muck bottom lake. I have taken the boat out in 22 MPH winds with these two 30 pound anchors and they held the boat for about a half hour while fishing. They do what I was wanting them to do..
