I needed very specific colored gems for a project (guess from the picture), and was lucky to get ONE dark orange in the package I received. Besides that, though, these are the perfect size, shape and color for my purposes. I only needed six out of the entire package, but I can find uses for the extras. I can see some potential tabletop game applications, and possible use in future prop/cosplay projects.

These are definitely not the color pictured. They are more of a green apple color. Not emerald green. They worked for my St. Patrick's day project though. Still very pretty, light weight and worth the price. I just bought the purple ones too.

I used these in the bottom of my betta fish tank. 1 bag filled the bottom of my 1.1 tank perfectly! So I would consider 1 bag per gallon. I wasn't sure if they would have toxic material on them from the factory so I washed them with Dawn dish soap before placing in tank. They do ruffle up easily if you move things around in there, but they do sink back to the bottom. Because they are larger pieces they are easy to clean when the tank gets cleaned. Would recommend for fish tanks!
