The Way To Go ...
johnnybarendfan•February 25, 2017
Quick shipment, fits and works well. As some noted, arm from motor spindle is not included, but it's not wise to remove that arm anyway. Putting it back on and tightening by braille is hard enough, but if nut, arm or wrench falls into the depths, you will be very cranky. That motor arm is not available off-the-shelf.
First, take note of how the two old wiper spindle arms are oriented before removing and loosely install the new linkage with the arms pointing the same way. Before pressing the open bushing onto the ball stud, turn the wiper control to the low speed position and then use the ignition key to stop the motor arm in the easiest-to-reach position. Lightly grease the ball stud and squeeze the bushing end on. If pliers are needed, tape up the jaws or insert cardboard. The rest is easy after you feel the "pop". Tighten and test run. Use wiper control to attain parked position. Install cowl and wipers. Laugh when it rains.
