Item arrived as described and quickly. I would recommend buying a tri Wing screwdriver if you're putting it into a Wii. If you have any mechanical ability switching out the hard drive is an easy task. So happy to have our Wii repaired and running again. Kids are very excited!

Worked perfectly!! Comes complete with the laser, so the whole drive is simply swapped out. I highly recommend watching YouTube videos on opening the Wii, and you will need a special tri-wing security screwdriver to do so (I purchased a set on Amazon).

To be clear, this it the whole DVD drive assembly. I bought this and a triwing screwdriver. Used along with readily available youtubes to get my Wii going again. Worked great. I have some experience with this sort of thing, so it wasn't too bad. Maybe 1 hr from start to finish, but I was taking my time.
