Excellent beans!

I've never bought Nicaraguan beans before and didn't know what to expect. They roast evenly, with a great deal of chaff, so be ready for that.
I like to roast this one to Full City, where it shows lovely hints of cocoa and toffee. Good stuff. I will be back for more.

New to roasting coffee beans
Jessica•November 24, 2016
I just started roasting my own coffee and Primos green coffe beans are the first ones I tried because if the favorable reviews. I just got my second bag. My son and I both are enjoying it and I have "gifted" some of the roasted beans to a few friends who all said they liked the finished product. At some point I will try some other beans for comparison, but I have been happy with the product and service but more so- the coffee.
Amazing Coffee!

Amazing coffee. We roast it as a slightly darker than medium roast. It has the most wonderfully rich and pleasant smell . It's a real treat!

I am new to roasting, and while I certainly couldn't call myself a coffee snob, I really enjoy good coffee in my Chemex. I thought I was buying great roasted beans from coffee houses. I had no idea how good coffee could be. This is A great coffee from great people. Delivered fast, this is a premium cup of coffee with a budget price. Very fast in answering questions as well. I had an absolute blast figuring out the roasting process. My first batch was a total success and I've had fun trying a couple different roasts with this already. It's going to be a fun week! Thanks so much!!
Makes the best hot chocolate coffee mixture.

My preference is a medium roast so that I get more of the health benefits of fresh bean, but, I've experimented with a variety of different roasts. I'll have a cup of black coffee for my first cup of the batch to get the true flavour. But, my normal method of drinking is something that others may not like. I do three cups water to 1 heaping scoop of beans. Before I pour my first cup I add a tablespoon of nestle chocolate unsweetened powder into the finished pot. Depending upon mood I'll add a bit of vanilla or cinnamon to taste. I then use a heavy dose of unsweetened almond milk to my mug. This makes me two mugs of a hot chocolate/coffee drink that I love. I used to drink coffee with quite a bit of sugar, but, stopped that sugar habit a few years ago. I told myself if others can learn to enjoy scotch and cigarettes, I can learn to enjoy unsweetened coffee. ;) It didn't take long.
For roasting I use an old air popper that I plug into an outdoor outlet to avoid the mess of the dried off skin that sheds from the beans and floats everywhere. It works perfectly and is fast.
