Works great!

This is the only hitch mount carrier I have ever used. I'm ignorant to what the more expensive carriers might do better... But this carrier was relatively easy to put together and seems sturdy.
I guess my only complaint is that the ramp takes some elbow grease to fit over the bolts - each time you go to mount it. But it's doable and I suppose will get easier the more it's used.
So far, I've taken a somewhat bumpy and partially offroad trip - an hour each way. I was confident the bike wasn't going anywhere.
Definitely have someone else with you the first time you use this - until you're comfortable with your tie-down points on the bike...and can prep your straps before walking the bike up.

Works surprising well for the price! There are more expansive ones but I only needed this for a couple times moving my Suzuki GSXR600 and did not want to spend hundreds of $s. At first I was dubious about the stability; however, after some local roads and highway driving my confidence in it was increased. Obviously, you have to be careful with any aggressive turns, accelerating or braking but if you drive it carefully (as if you were pulling a trailer) you'll have no issues. The short ramp length was an issue since my sport bike fairings would have hit the crest if the ramp. I needed to prop the bottom of the ramp a few inches to clear the bottom of the fairings. I suggest that you also put a couple straps from the corners for the carrier to the top of your truck bed for added lateral support and piece of mind. 4 stars since the price is right for the features. It would have 5 stars at this price point if the instructions were more detailed and the ramp was longer.
Pros:
o Priced right
o Not difficult to assemble
o Works; especially for dirt bikes, scoots and 'higher' clearance bikes.
Cons:
o Ramp can be longer to clear lower sport bikes
o Holes for straps are a bit small for larger ratchet straps
o No place to secure the ramp to the holder to precent the ramp from coming loose and falling during loading/unloading.
o Anti-sway block did not come with instructions. I figured it out with a bit of thought but some people may have a harder time.

I've traveled with a Coleman 200, and a hawk 250. Not at the same time, obviously, but each individually. I did not use the insert and pin that came with the unit, I have my own stabilizer insert and locking pin. Works great. I'd suggest finding a longer ramp, I just happened to have some aluminum laying around and made my ramp as long as the rack.
anti tilt hard to use

Well made, good materials, good value.
One point though, apparently no one (not Direct Aftermarket, not U-haul "“ which both have the same design) has figured out that the anti-tilt mechanism is a pain to use. Why? b/c as designed, you have to position its bolt hole while it is inside the bike carrier tube, after installing the carrier in the car side receiver tube (or before installing the bike carrier into the hitch and hope the anti-tilt mechanism has not moved (it will!) during the carrier install to receiver process). My wife (not a mechanical engineer) has a solution: just put one of those 2" x 5/16" x 1/16" neo magnets between the anti-tilt mechanism and the bike carrier tube and slide the anti-tilt it. It will stay where you put it!
