I ordered a total of 4, and one of them stopped working within 10 min of use. Another one's impeller sounds off balance but the pump still works. The other two are fine, work as expected, for now. Hopefully they won't break down too soon.

Conclusion:
Great pump, but has its limitations. As long as air pockets are not introduced into the pump, then it will work quietly and perform.

Cons (reasons I deducted 1 star):
- Unit is unable to "suck" water. Pump itself must hold water already for water to flow. (Small air bubbles do not affect performance.)
- Due to above con, the pump makes a large whirring noise when it's on but water is not flowing (pump is unable to get water to flow if pump holds an air pocket)
I've had to manually suck water through the input/output so that water gets to the pump, and only then the pump starts working. The pump is only 1in above my reservoir, and I'm only pumping regular water.

These are hard to beat for the price. I installed one in my backyard fountain and it pushed water up 3 feet. I can use a small resistor or PWM device to reduce the pressure or a lower voltage power supply. The power supply that I am using is 12VDC. Anyway, well worth the price and plenty of pressure. The mechanical design would allow me to open the pump should some debris get caught inside.
