I really like this box. I plan on using it to display some mementoes from my mother's childhood. It will protect them and keep them from getting too dusty as well as make a great little display for them. Unlike a few other reviewers, I didn't have any issue with the glass. I didn't have to attach it in any way and it wasn't loose. It also arrived in tact, unbroken, and without scratches.

Now I do really like it and plan on keeping it but there were a few minor issues with it. They were mostly problems with the fabric so I don't think this would be an issue with the leatherette box. The only thing I noticed after the fact that is similar with the three styles that I wasn't excited about was the foam. How I didn't notice it, I can't explain as you can see it in the product images as well as a customer image. When you open the box, there is this white foam-like material around the outer-inside edge. I assume it's necessary to the integrity of the box so I'm not even considering toying with it. I saw in a customer image from the leatherette one that the foam is black so it blends better. My linen one, however, is a light beige so the white foam is very visible upon opening it. Since there isn't any kind of hinge, ribbon, or chain that holds the lid up when you open it, the foam is pretty darn visible. It's not a deal-breaker for me but make sure you check out the product listing images. I have included some of my own as well.

The other issues I had that I believe could only affect the linen or burlap boxes were with the fabric. At one of the corners there is linen overlap around the metal in the left-front. It's actually, again, visible in the product listing so I anticipate you should expect it will be there if you order it. It's not a big thing and it's definitely something that is shown in the listing so my bad for not looking more closely. I also had a small tear in another corner where you can see the box under the fabric. It's not big and I included a picture but it's a possibility that this may be an issue for the fabric boxes. There was also an area on the back corner where the fabric pulled away from the box and frayed slightly. It's in the back so it's not a big deal and I don't want to remove it and make it worse so it stays.

Despite my minor issues, I really like this box. It's cute and perfect for my display needs. I've been looking for a glass-topped display box for a while and for the price, this one is great. I've seen others that are at minimum double the price of this one at this size or you end up with something inexpensive and looks that way. My issues will most definitely not keep me from using it but I wanted to put it out there that it isn't perfect however, in my opinion, I don't think the linen or burlap boxes should look perfect. I would definitely recommend it despite any flaws.

great case however the latches arnt the best. i ordered two and one of them you almost have to force closed as they dont line up very well. but other than that they are great
