We are only using the cutoff feature, and it works well. We are using it to trim .075" carbon steel, which i am sure exceeds its rating, but no problems. I am sure it would handle sheet metal very easily. The handle can be adjusted if you need more leverage, and we actually extended ours by one foot with a long pipe placed over the handle. This is a very heavy, well made piece of equipment. (weighs over 300 lbs)
Be sure you have a strong table to mount it on. Overall, we are happy with it!

I'm going to second the customer service for Kaka. These guys are very communicative and are willing to help resolve issues. When I first got the unit, I started doing some test cuts. I was using 18g aluminum and after about 5 cuts, the unit broke. The top half that is bolted down actually separated from the body, most likely a casting defect. I contacted Kaka and without question, they shipped me a replacement unit and covered the cost of return shipping on the broken one.
As for the performance of the device, it works pretty damn good. It cuts strait and bends just as easily. Would definitely purchase from them again.

I use this tool to cut metal for cuff bracelets. This is so much faster than using a jeweler's saw.
I was able to cut up to a 16 gauge copper. It was hard to pull the level but it was able to cut it.

If you are only using this as a metal sheer and not a bending tool - take it out of the box and attach the handle. The cutting mechanism was already ready to go. Fyi the cutting mechanism is on top of the machine. I have cut 24ga and 26ga brass and copper. It cuts smoothly and easily with only slight bur. I use this for craft use and not professional sheet metal work.

I'm sure its the same or very similar to the others listed that look just like it in a different color.
