It really works! This product helped reduce water buildup in the 30 year old leach field tank. The technician said the level had gone from 75% full to 90% empty between pump outs of main tank. Saved expensive dirt work.

I put the Oxyseptic in the pump tank as directed (one bag every 2-3 days). I immediately saw white foam coming out of the ground where water had previously leaked out, at the end of our drain field pipe (I guess we only have one). Subsequent applications produced less foam. At the end of the process I didn't see any water coming out of the ground where it had before. They key is to get it concentrated, so don't put it in the septic tank itself. It will become so diluted and neutralized that I don't think it would work.
I installed a Aerostream unit to convert the septic tank to aerobic, which it did as promised. I'm hoping that will be a long term fix. It makes some noise, but this at a vacation cabin, so we can turn it off while we're here.

This product worked on my drain field where any other product I tried did nothing, and I tried several. This product was less money than all the others. After about 6 months still working.
Desperation ends , this was a a worth while additive
