So far not good.

Unfortunately this product comes with an RJ-45 (female) receptacle on the inside of the wall plate. This is the oddest wall plate really. I didn't check to see if it has TIA-568A or B punch down and unfortunately it doesn't. This is problematic in multiple ways. First it requires a crimp to RJ-45 inside the box (yuck). Second it means that the Ethernet port shown is actually a bridge port which can potentially introduce other problems. I suppose that isn't unreasonable and I don't know if it will be a problem. Will see after I install and test. But a quick warning if you were expecting a punch down -- there isn't one.
Efficient converter, stable output.

Powering 24/7 Raspberry PI 3 (which is sensitive to power quality) for over two months now. No issues whatsoever. The adapter stays cold (efficient converter) and output is clean (I had random restarts with lesser quality supplies). The splitter is plugged in into UniFi 8 port 60W switch.
Works exactly as designed

Works as designed! I have two of these--one is connected to a Foscam FI-9826W the barrel connector coming directly off the POE device fits perfectly. The other is powering a Raspberry Pi 3 which runs a "dashboard" display in my company's lobby. The USB connectors "lock" quite nicely into whatever they are connected.
Great solution, good value

Been running several Pi3 Model B's from these for past few weeks with no problems. Technically, the Pi requires 12.5W of power for all functions to work properly, but in the right applications this will work fine. Be wary if you plan to hook up a bunch of peripherals like USB devices, camera, etc.

Tech support from POE-Texas / WiFi-Texas is excellent.
Has enough power to run a Raspberry Pi 3/b

Has enough power to run a Raspberry Pi 3/b. Using a 24 port Ubiquiti POE switch this unit provides the 2 amps the pi needs, and I dont get the 'lightning bolt' icon on the screen when using a too low power power-packs. Runs Gigabit just fine.
