Instructions are not helpful

My cat loves it but the instructions are horrible and not clear. We ended up with extra screws and had to figure out where they went because it wasn't clear. The instructions consisted of 2 pictures. No written instructions at all.
Two years later and this tree is perfect

My cats love it, it's sturdy, and exactly as tall as they wanted it to be. I'm glad it's slim, I feel other cat trees are too busy for something the cats like to climb to the top and rest on. They have started to destroy a bit of the middle boxed portion, but the structure itself is still entirely durable. I highly recommend it.
Exceeded expectations (Those were low to begin with though)

Two year update. It's still going strong with three cats and two children. Some of the rope has come off but that is to be expected. The 3rd level box broke during a move but it is otherwise intact. The current price of $83 is a bit high. I'd consider buying a new one for $50 or $60.
I happened to find this on sale for $35 and figured what the heck. I'd wanted to get something like this for my cats for quite a while but was hesitant to spend a lot of money on one due to all the negative reviews I saw. My primary concerns were the stability and the indication that these were meant for smaller cats. I have three moderately large cats and didn't have a lot of hope for this.
Shipping and Assembly:
Upon ordering I received an estimated delivery date of 3-5 WEEKS though it would be a two day Prime delivery once it was shipped... I was confused by this at first but it was likely just due to demand as the price was super low. That's cool. It ended up shipping about two weeks after I ordered it so I was pleasantly surprised. My wife put it together while I was at work and had no issues with the process. We did find that we needed to cut a bit off of one of the bolts holding the house on so that it did not poke through so far. Even with two small children the setup took maybe twenty minutes.
Quality:
The rope is of sufficient quality that it should last a while. The scratching posts will likely need to be replaced but that's sort of expected when you have destructive animals in your house. Better this cheap twine than your couch right? This is not covered with carpet but is more of a thinner and smoother material. Seems sturdy enough and did not have any defects.
Our cats love the thing and play with it throughout the night, which sucks, because we like sleep.

This is the second cat tree we purchased. The first was not stable enough for an overweight cat, and it shaking made her self conscious of her size. This tree we placed in the most conspicuous of places, so she could see everything from it, and it looks lovely. The white fabric really ties into our rented apartments' white walls and you don't notice it jutting out in the middle of the room. Absolutely perfect. The rope is a tad confusing for her, so we knotted it up and tied a piece of string to hang down in its place. She adores that. It was easy to assemble. She had time to knock over the bowl of screws while I was assembling it, but no where near enough time to scatter them all. And the box! Elevated enough to know she is safe from the roomba, two openings perfectly placed to view out the window or towards the kitchen/living room. With a little shelf on either opening to place her head so she can stretch out facing whichever way she wants.
Truly a masterpiece of a box. She spends all day napping in it, and I have gotten up in the middle of the night to get some water and I find my cat still sleeping in the box instead of under my bed. This tree has turned my cat into a decorative cat whom never leaves her box and no longer terrorizes the apartment at all hours. If I have any final words to say it's this: When this masterpiece was assembled, she didn't even bother jumping in the cardboard box it had came in. 5 stars!

This climber is so great. Easy to put together if you have built climbers before (if not it can be a little confusing.) it is a little wobbly, but I don't worry about her safety. She loves the mice and constantly plays with them.
