If you have a good safety net then you DO have to take it down to use this cover. Any safety net that is incorporated into the spring v hooks will not work with this cover without taking the net down. Jumpsport should post their instructions to make it clear.
Easy, about 20 minutes

Installation: Easy, about 20 minutes. 1) Opened up cover inside trampoline and fit buckles around each pole. 2) Walked around trampoline tightening the buckle straps and opening the velcro slots (16 of them!) that are for every location the bungie cord is attached to the netting. This is something I did not understand from the product description and why the cover is superior to a plain tarp and costs more. The slots allow the cover to protect all sections of the pads from the sun by fastening around the bungie cords.
Comments: A well thought out design, covers and secures around all areas that could suffer sun damage, drainage mesh in center to stop pooling of water, canvas material easier to work with than urethane coated tarp, and a nice neutral green color. After spending the last few days picking leaves off the trampoline and digging them out from seams I hope this makes life better. I am wondering how you remove the cover without getting the contents (leaves etc"¦) on the trampoline? Fold it in on itself and carry it out filled with whatever has landed on it? I fear walking on the cover to sweep it would cause the buckles to break. I will have to write [email protected] and see what she says.

Good-at first it looks great, blends with landscaping, ties on to the frame.
Bad- Barely lasts a summer before crinkling and withering away under the sun. NOT suitable for outdoor use. (which, of course, defeats the purpose.)

I bought this when we bought our trampoline. The first year it was okay. It may protect your trampoline-but it does not keep leaves and other debris off of it. The problem is that after a year -it is faded, crispy and crinkled. It is in no way able to stand up to the elements. I should have taken a picture before we threw it away. What we got that had worked perfectly for years now- a nice tarp from the hardware store.
