Absolutely the best strainer out there!

Hands down the best strainer for small grains I have ever had the pleasure of owning. So good, best find in a long long time. So much so I am going to get one as a gift for someone. Its thick well made well molded and well designed. A plus to whomever at OXO did this design, let that person do more designs please.

Purchased this product for quinoa and it works great. I've seen other product say it works for quinoa, and then I've read reviews where people say it doesn't function well for quinoa. Well, this one functions well for quinoa. I use it for rice and lentils as well, but I was worried whether it would work for quinoa, and it does.

LOVE this colander! It is perfect for rinsing quinoa and rice in. I was originally using a mesh metal strainer to rinse my grains in and they would get stuck. Although the mesh strainer gets the water out quicker, it's a pain to knock everything into the pot to cook. Plus I used it to rinse berries as well. All around, great colander.

It is very helpful to have a colander designed to handle small grains, especially when it's quinoa that generally needs to be washed. The colander does its job well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I needed a way to wash brown rice and quinoa and lentils. This strainer is perfect!! I especially like the feature where the water drains slowly to let you see if it is clear. I'm going to buy one for my Daughter also for her kitchen.
