This is not a seat you would take backpacking, car camping maybe. It's bulky and heavy compared to camping specific seats, but does have more cushion. If you think you need a wide get a extra wide.With the arms up my son barely fits and he is no where near "wide". You can use with the arms down though.

This is a great stadium. I have used many kind, I must say this is by far the greatest of all. It gives much support to my back and my husbands back, because we sit a long time a many athletic events. Best support ever. Yes I difinitely recommend this seat to all for great comfort.

I highly recommend this seat. It makes such a difference when spending the entire day on a bleacher. My son has two of these and he let me borrow his at two tournaments- it was only fair to get my own since he has back problems and deserved to sit in his own. Youl'll be happy to have one.

Absolutely LOVE my seat. My daughter plays volleyball and the tournaments are every Saturday which last the whole day. This seat was a life saver for me. At the tournament last weekend, one of the other parents had one, she loves hers. I immediately ordered one when I got home so I would have it for the next weekend. I can imagine that you will be getting some more orders as I had SEVERAL people approach me asking where I got it. I even had one gentleman come up to me and ask me to please stand up so he could take a picture of the seat with the brand name on it. We were initially sitting in the bleachers & when we had to move to a different gym, bleacher seating wasn't available, only folding chairs were, I was pleased to find out that this seat would also fit into one of the folding chairs as well. I will definitely be ordering some more chairs when funds are available.
