This is a great little Geiger counter to carry around with you

This is a great little Geiger counter to carry around with you. I've been having fun finding radioactive items in antique shops and even on the street. Its very sensitive, which is great for finding objects that are radioactive. I do wish it was a bit more robust because I feel if it was dropped it might be done. All in all I'm very happy with it.

User interface in Japanese and did not measure X-ray

This meter was delivered in the Japanese version and the user interface cannot be changed to English. How many people in US speak Japanese?
We asked a Japanese colleague to help us testing the counter at a 35kV X-ray tube. Other than a professional meter and a professional Geiger counter it did not show any significant reading at scatter radiation other than background noise. The meter seems not to measure X-ray in this energy range at all.
