I tried more than 10 fans for my laptop. This one was my choice. It is a little noisy but it cools perfectly. I also like its nice lighting.

"So far, so good". Notable cooling yet whisper quiet. Raising the "two back feet" makes a BIG difference in cooling level. My Acer Swift Go 14 needs some help when both "high intensity usage" (e.g. movies) AND "high powered recharging" take place. This is NOT a Netbook for one's lap. BUT, Tecknet seems to handle the load well.

My laptop is a ProStar desktop replacement that generates heat like crazy. Has two nvme ssd and one spinner disk. I tend to run two VM's most of the day plus whatever I'm doing on the Win10 desktop.
Disk temps before placing the pad: 40c, 45c, 41c. I have seen the middle number as high as 49c at times.
Temps immediately began to drop and after about an hour while doing my usual work: 31c, 35c, 37c.
A day later while typing this: 33c, 37c, 38c.
The exhaust air out the back of the laptop is still warm, but noticeably cooler than before.
I don't see the led light unless I specifically lean over to see it and even then, not particularly visible. (Daylight conditions by a window though.)
The noise level is below everything else that's running in my office, so not noticeable either.
