Nice product, but I think it was a little pricey for what was received. I used it for a project vs. the intended use and it worked well. It is a very nice piece of wood and well finished and it "seasoned" very well with coconut oil as was recommended. I'm not at at all disappointed with the product, but think it's a just a little bit overpriced.
It's not cheap but it's sturdy and worth every dime.

I've been searching for a really good cutting board for ages. I love this board. I ordered some butcher block oil conditioner (John Taylor Butcher Block Conditioner Food Grade Mineral Oil and Natural Waxes, 12 fl.oz(355ml) and the final result is amazing. I've had some rinky dink cutting boards (that I'll probably use for trays and trivets) but this one is great-it's sturdy, easy to clean, and is holding up well to cutting a variety of foods. It's on the pricey side for a cutting board but you get what you pay for in this case . I'm going to get another for my sister with some other kitchen supplies for when she moves.

This is an absolutely beautiful board. I bought it last Christmas as a gift for my dad, and he loves it. The size and weight are perfect for keeping out on a large countertop or island, ready to roll out dough or chop up a giant salad at a moment's notice. Plus, the color of the wood is gorgeous enough to make displaying it a pleasure. Just keep in mind you'll need to oil it regularly to keep the walnut rich and pretty, and to prevent cracking. We use coconut oil when it starts to pale a bit--easy maintenance. It's a solid, well-made piece, and I'm really happy I bought it.

This walnut wood cutting board is beautiful. I love that it comes unseasoned and is customizable to finish with any preferred seasoning oil or finishing wax that I prefer to use. It's thick and sturdy, and is easily reversible solid block with deep drip groove carved around edges of one side which is great because you don't have to worry about a big mess like you do with others, it has a cooperative non-slip surface that keeps counter-tops free of liquids and juices from messy food prep like carving meats, slicing fruits, chopping vegetables, dicing herbs, mincing and more. This is my favorite new cutting board.
