After reading all the negative reviews about these magnets (and frankly, about every similar magnet on Amazon), I had to write a positive review. I used these magnets to make a word wall for my classroom. The adhesive sticks well to the word cards, which are about 2 X 3 cardstock, and the magnets stick very firmly to a magnetic dry erase board. They definitely did the job for me. Can't speak to how they work for heavier projects, but given that they are 3/4" little magnets, I wouldn't expect them to hold something heavy.

I love Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans but they aren't magnetized so I can't put them in my MAC palettes. When I first saw the reviews on these magnets I was a bit worried they wouldn't work for that purpose but they work great! And for a great price! I even put a sticker label from the eyeshadow over the magnet and it still holds strong to the palette. I can even flip it upside down and they don't budge. The magnets are a bit thicker than the MAC shadow ones so the Makeup Geek pans sit a bit higher but I'm ok with that.

Pretty strong adhesive but probably not bad where it hurts furniture/etc. Not super strong magnets but hold shower curtain to metal tub as needed.

Although it can be a bit tricky to peal the backing off, they are so worth it! As a teacher, I can laminate my bulletin board things and stick it on my white board. Easy on and easy off!
