It fried 2 of my LED strips. It probably wasn't wired properly. And yes I did connect it properly according to the arrow. Feels kinda cheap too. I purchased one of these else where and it worked perfectly. Too bad I have 2 dead led strips because of this. I might have gotten a dud, but be warned if your gonna try one of these out anyways.

These are ok. They do what they are supposed to do. The biggest hassle with these are the four-pin header. they slip out too easily. Whoever in the industry thought that this was a good idea to start with needs to go back to engineering school. I have since ordered parts and swapping all these connectors out with Mokungkit waterproof LED connector cables. Four-pin twist-lock connectors much better way to go.

Missing the three 4-pin connector "plugs". I had a connector in my electronics toolkit, so that solved my issue, but most people probably don't have boxes full of random electronics.
I used these strips: "LE 12V Flexible RGB LED Light Strip Kit, Color Changing, 150 Units 5050 LEDs, Non-Waterproof , Remote Controller and Power Adapter Included, LED Tape, Pack of 16.4ft/5m" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EWBZW0A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
The first ones I got didn't work with the splitter, but a replacement strip solved the problem, and they work now.

I bought these to use with the pyle speakers I bought for my boat, the speakers had built in led lights but the controller could only plug into 2 speakers.. they sold the speakers in a pack of 4, but only allowed you to plug 2 into the switch.. (that's not a joke pyle really sells them like that) long story short one of the speakers lights were fried so I didn't need to use the spltters, which was good because I don't think they would've lasted very long especially in a marine environment. very cheaply constructed..
