Solved my issue

Easy to recomend. The price was right. The shipping was fast (prime). It solved the problem.
The extension wire to LED strip clips were what I needed to solve my problem with poor soldering skills. I will say, however, that they were not completely ID10t proof. It took 2 tries to figure out that it was easiest to use with the circuit live; opposed to build on the bench and relocate to the installation site.
Open the securing clips wide, separate the exrension wire about 3/4" press each wire in its groove with thumb then press down the holding clip. Then, the LED strip. Cut on the cut line, do not remove waterproofing, open the holding clip to see the conductor pins well, line up the strip - this is where a live curcuit helps..put the contoller on white (all colors on. When you get all colors lighting up, press down the hold down clip. Note: a bad connection on the extension wire side can also be the cause of 1 or all colors not working. Be patient. Be ready to open and try again. Have fun!
I did not try the adhesive backed mount clips in my application.
I did not use this outdoors or in a wet location. I only got the wather proof variety to match my existing LED stips.
Wife loves her new indirect lighting on her knickknack shelves.

I purchased this to fabricate a few jumpers so I can string LED lights through the kitchen (on top of the cabinets). Unfortunately, I am starting with one set of Waterproof lights and two sets of indoor lights. The waterproof set has a very thick coating of plastic covering the lights, the other ones do not have this thick coating. I find that the wire to LED strip connectors do not work if you are using the non-waterproof strip, the contacts just will not penetrate to make contact with the LED strip. I am going to try building up the thickness locally using electricians tape, if that doesn't work, I will have to get a thin soldering iron (unfortunately all of my soldering equipment is too large for this application). I suspect that the waterproof strand will connect much easier (as you can see in some of the videos associated with this product). The wire ribbon is 22 gauge, so relatively thin wire - but the wire splice terminations work quite well... I am sure someone could come-up with a more reliable termination gadget, will keep my eye open, but once I get these wired, I doubt I will have to worry about re-terminating any of these.
