It was a spare mobile and was good for music storage

2. My apologies to Esinkin asearlier I only gave it 4 stars. Now it is 5. I updated this about 6 minutes ago but it did not show. So here is the scoop. It was my incorrect usage for the second time that it did not connect. Problem fixed. Just depress the button on top of the adapter. Sounds great, works great, connect it to your switched power connection on your amp and it powers on an off as you need with your amp or receiver.. Great device.
1. It was packaged appropriately with other items ordered. The instructions were simple to follow and the item connected to my IPhone 4. It was a spare mobile and was good for music storage. Upon connecting to the power source, powering my stereo amp it connected via Bluetooth immediately. No problems.... yet. I switched it off satisfied with my purchase.
The following day switched the adapter unit on and selected Bluetooth on my IPhone4. It did not connect. I reset, disconnected and varied the distance, even standing next to it, but it would not connect. My Samsung Galaxy 5 connects every time. Had the adapter worked with my IPhone 4 every time I would have awarded 5 stars. But I was disappointed. Perhaps there will be a response here to my problem.

Nice, Dependable Bluetooth Connection

Instantly paired with my phone. Also gives a tone at power-up that let's you know the audio device is properly connected to the Bluetooth Receiver. Don't like leaving it plugged in all the time so I just plug & unplug when I use it - it only gets used 8 - 12 hours a week so I hope it will last longer not being plugged in all the time. If you needed it portable, it would run off of a USB port or charger if you could find a USB cable that terminates in the correct size/polarity coaxial power connector. Sorry - I don't know the exact size of the power connector you would need. I've been very pleased with the performance and sound. Would definitely buy again especially if I wanted one setup to run on 110 AC.
Pretty good for the price.

Overall very good. Easy to set up. Music quality is good. I had some connecticity issues sporadically... music broke up every once in a while, but that could have been the bluetooth on my phone, not necessarily this device. Range is about 30 feet or so. Device is always on as apposed to having an auto off feature... I prefer it stay on actually, because if I'm sitting down with dogs in my lap and decide I want to listen to music, I don't have to get up to turn it on. 4 stars. If the range was more like 60 feet, it would get 5 stars.

Package arrived before promised date, and in excellent new condition. Product works 100% ok. Pairing was simple and error free. Audio was excellent with the RCA Phono Plug inputs. There was some random radio frequency interference "noise" using the supplied 1/8" stereo pin plug which terminates with male RCA Phono Plugs. Noise perhaps was generated with my nearby LED 120vac lamp, which might be generating noise. Perhaps the 1/8" stereo pin plug wire does not have 100% shielding in it's construction, but that is speculation. Keeping that input method as short as possible helps to reduce any noise issues. So far I'm impressed. Favorite features so far:
1) It automatically recognizes when a Bluetooth-connected device comes in range. (I now hear the three-tone recognition signal through my speakers as I approach my front door on my way home. Kinda cool!)
2) You can link MORE THAN ONE DEVICE SIMULTANEOUSLY. So my computer and my iPhone are both connected. For some reason all my previous bluetooth speakers couldn't do this.
I have it linked through an old (but high quality) receiver and my Klipsch speakers. Sounds great.
