You don't really realize how big a 12" ball is until you hold it! Huge, beautiful, well made. For those who don't know, the small hole in the bottom is so you can fill it with sand or water to weigh it down.

Beautiful colors! Very shiny! The hummingbirds keep approaching the balls and checking them out! The center hole is a bit small, which makes it difficult to attach the (separate sale) hanger! Once the hanger is attached, it is easy then to then hang the ball from the eave of the house!

I just got this so I don't know how it will stand up to the elements, but it's beautiful to start with, anyway! It is more petite (8") so if you want a big gazing ball, order a 10" one. This will be perfect in front of my condo. Hopefully, it will hold up to the elements and not peel or rust, since it's stainless. It's more blue/green on one side, and more purple on the other. (The photos have rotated for some reason, and I can't get them to be vertical. This is not how they are in my files.)
