Very nice so far prior to assembly.

Package arrive last night. As described it is quite heavy but manageable. Real wood! Huge bonus.
I opened the box to find things well packaged and laid everything out to check that all parts were accounted for.
The hardware includes some extra pieces which might prove useful. Only 2 minor dings which if hidden after assembly I won't bother with.
Update:
Assembly complete with the help of my 4 year old.
Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Don't be afraid of the door assembly page it looks like it might be a challenge but everything is laid out to make the home stretch well worth it.
PROS for assembly
Easy to follow instructions.
All parts well labeled
Extra parts bag although I did not need any
All predrilled holes are expertly placed
I used a manual screwdriver per the directions and with a good philips it was not too exhausting
Althout the unti weighs over 80lbs it was easy for me to set it upright and manipulate during assembly.
CONS for assembly
Not much to say here
Only a few pilot holes were drilled for the thin backing parts so I drilled them myself. Not ever sure you need to pilot drill but I did to be safe and avoid any splitting.
It would be nice to have more options for cabling entering the back. Maybe to store power strips\UPS in the drop down compartment. The backing is a thin particle type wood and cutting a hole might prove challenging. I will build something for underneath to hide cables.
I added 7 photos of the unboxing but only 2 were shown so I am not sure how to provide more. Once I put the TV and media devices in place I will replace the assembled image.
I have a 58" Samsung which will look nice but Amazon does have some really nice 70s and up..:)
Update: I plan to buy some dark wood to make a bracket to hide the cabling underneath since I use a UPS the cabling is bulky.

Great Cabinet

Love this unit. I saw older feedback that said it wasn't packaged well, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. The wood stain was darker than we wanted, so we sanded and painted it before assembling. The cabinet looks great under our big screen television. Love, love it!
Not buying furniture from amazon again

I took the chance to buy a piece of furniture through amazon and will not do it again. I'm a prime member and the delivery for the shipment was fair and the TV stand is real wood, no complains on that. However, I'm rating the item with 1 star only because one of the main parts (the bottom shelf) came broken. There was no way of returning it because, first, the whole thing was a pain to unpack, it is pretty heavy, too; and second, my husband had put together the drawers by the time he found the broken pieces. Since the damage was almost invisible to the eye he decided to glue the pieces together and leave it like that. I'm posting some pictures so that you can see it. Overall, I'm not taking chances at buying large pieces of furniture through amazon again.
Other then that we love the piece it is just what we wanted

Cracked on one piece and chipped on other. Says to contact manufacturer for replacement parts and they are out of this piece for 8 weeks supposedly. So I've requested for new pieces to be sent to me in 8 weeks and haven't heard back. Other then that we love the piece it is just what we wanted. Just wish it wasn't damaged when it arrived!
We love our new TV stand!

We have had this entertainment center for about a month now. We love it! I love that our TV is too tall for our little one to put his hands all over now, and we have space for all of our remotes, movies, and various devices to be organized. The piece itself is super solid and sturdy! It holds our 55 inch TV perfectly. There is just enough space for the stand part of the TV, and the TV panel does not extend past the length of the furniture. For real wood, it was an amazing price! The glass panels are tempered glass, which was a concern with our little ones. But it is good to know that no huge shards of glass will hurt them if the panels do break for some reason. The only thing I don't like is the knobs, as they are sharp edged and not really our style, but I can (and will) swap those out with some round ones I like better. Overall we absolutely love this piece of furniture, and would totally recommend it!
