Easy to use, less waste, save money

My coffee tastes like brewed coffee! I was tired of buying kpod packs and sometimes getting a box of new to me coffee that I would end up not liking. I went for this one because of the rating it received. I have the Keurig 2.0. Before I used it I figured out how to insert it. My Keurig has a needle that comes up from below where the kpod sits. It can slide out of the way by pulling toward you and that's where this little guy goes. I followed the instructions on the box and waited for my cafesito. I watched as the liquid that came out was dark and smelled GREAT! There was even that slight oily froth at the edges of my mug that you get when using an espresso machine. Wow. It tasted like heaven. A quick tap against the trash can to dislodge the used grinds and a wash with hot water and I was done. I suppose it takes a couple of minutes more but WOW what an improvement on the taste of your coffee. I may prep my reusable filter the night before and put it in a zip lock bag in the fridge. I am very happy with my purchase especially because now I can use up some of my coffee that friends have bought me from their travels. I have added a video where I show how the piercing needle for the kpods can be moved out of the way to insert the reusable filter. This item is well worth the price and I hope I get lots of use out of it.
Love it

This lets me drink the coffee I want. It makes a great strong cup of whatever brand coffee you enjoy. Dark roast is my favorite and it comes out nice and strong.
Word of caution: the instructions on my package said to put the hinge down, if I had listened I would have broken my machine. My cups hinge has to go on the left side. So play with it to determine how yours should fit.
Don't fill it all the way to the very top, but you can get close. The water needs a little room. You also need to put enough coffee in to cover the gold mesh so the water doesn't find the easy way out.
I love it and use it every day.

Not at all worth it.

No better than the plastic models that sell for less in packages of four! The 'gold' doesn't make a better cut f coffee, and I noticed that they're much harder to clean. Grounds stick to the 'gold' filter and require a lot of rinsing.
I'm sticking to the commercial pods since that the advantage of a Keurig--fast, convenient, and no mess. If you want to deal with measuring, washing out filters, etc., just use a conventional small (5-cup) coffeemaker. It'll take a little bit longer, but it's cheaper than pods, and if you use a paper filter, mostly mess-free. If you have a Keurig and want to use these, buy the multi-packs of plastic reusable pods.
***BTW, it'll cost $6 to return this tiny thing. I've learned to check product descriptions to make sure returns are free. Sometimes they aren't, even for Prime members.

Buy THIS product not Keurig 2.0 refillable cup

This works perfectly in my K2 brewer. It is a perfect alternative to the Keurig version. I am beyond disappointed with the Keurig 2.0 refillable cup. The biggest issue is the Keurig top is prone to breakage due to its design. All 4 of my Keurig filters have broken, so I have been looking for an alternative. This product is just want I wanted. I have used this style in the past with my older Keurig 1.0 with no issues. They are sturdy, well made and I don't expect any problems. I do have to "center" this pod in my brewer so that it is aligned with the spike but it is not big deal. I hate the waste and cost of Keurig pods so I appreciate other vendors to make products that are compatible with the 2.0 version.
This is THE reusable coffee filter to get

I have other reusable filters. Some don't hold as much coffee (I like it strong). Some are easier to clean out, but clog if using a fine grind of coffee and then leak. So far, this one has handled everything I threw at it, flawlessly.
The gold colored screen seems like it is tough enough to withstand poking to clean out the grounds (I've had others that did not).
Only negative I can say about it, is the lid seems thicker than others I have had, and on my Mixpresso coffee machine I have to use just a hair more force to close the lid on it, but not enough "extra pressure" to be of concern.
But so far, this is the best reusable coffee filter I have tried.
