Recommend for greasy and partially clogged pipes

We live full-time in a fifth-wheel RV. Although we try to not allow extra grease or food down the drains, inevitably some does go down the drain. We often park where we do not have a sewer connection so what goes down the drain sits in a tank until we empty it. Over several years we began to experience the water in the kitchen sink draining slower plus a gurgling sound when it reached the tank or so it seemed. I used a type of snake to clean the p-trap, which helped the speed, but not the gurgling. I saw this product and wrote the company about it as I did not want to have something sitting in the holding tank that would damage it. Their response to my inquiry was quick and helpful. I purchased the product and used it over about 6 weeks--maybe 1 time a week. Recently, we have noticed the water drains quickly and we do not have the gurgling sound. I will continue to use this product as a preventative twice a month. We have used this only in the "gray" tanks, which is waste water. I have a product I like for the "black" tank, which is more economical to use and does a good job.
It works beautifully and it's super concentrated. Nontoxic.

I demand natural/nontoxic/sustainable solutions to the problems of life and have used enzyme drain products for many years as they enhance the natural organisms, not destroy them. This product is highly concentrated and is a great buy. We moved to a house that is 60+ years old, have no idea when the septic tank was last pumped, and don't want to have to. Bathroom sink and shower backed up immediately on use. Have been using this product for several months. Started off on the bathroom sink by putting a good solid dose in, then putting masking tape across the sink to remind us not to use that sink. Let it sit for 3+ days without use. No more backups like we had. Also did concentrated, every-day treatments in bathtub/shower drain and bathroom sink to continue to treat the leach lines and the tank. No more problems. Also, drain flies no longer a problem. I'm continuing to do a heavy treatment plan because of our need to ensure that the old septic system (including leach lines) is fully treated, but will go to the standard monthly treatment at some point soon. Feeling confident. Totally recommend this product; it works beautifully and it's super concentrated.
Forms a non-viscous, non-gelling, non-foaming solution when used as instructed.

I was asked by the seller to write a review and received no compensation. I cannot judge the abilities of this septic system "maintainer" to work. Nor can anyone else who uses the product in his or her home, because it's impossible to know when it works or not in the home septic system. I can only judge the ability to prevent drain clogs, and I have insufficient time with the product to do that. My rating, then, is based on my belief in the product's abilities to prevent drain clogs based solely on its visible properties. I believe that it will not have any effect on typical upper rain clogging--it has no foaming or gelling ability and is not viscous when dissolved as instructed. Without one of those properties the solution that is poured into the drain goes straight down, with only brief contact with part of the upper drain walls. There is very little likelihood that the biomaterial will adhere to the upper walls of the drain long enough to colonize and act to prevent clogs. Therefore, any drain clogging prevention will be limited to further down the drain where we do not experience clogs.
Try this, it worked for me. Be patient; let the bugs chew it all loose.

This stuff saved my kitchen sink drain and me from having to call a plumber. I poured in a half bottle and let it sit in the clogged drain (no standing water in sink; that had drained away.) Three days later, I poured in the other half and let it sit three more days while I soaped dishes in the bathroom sink - yuck!!! Then I used the "G.T. Water Products, Inc. MP100 Master Plunger, Turquoise" I bought (and think of as "Master Blaster"). Had to work it for ten or so minutes relentlessly, but it cleared the drain out and it ran better than before. I hadn't even realized before that I could no longer just turn the tap on full and let it run. Well, I mean I had noticed, but I had just altered the way I did dishes without really thinking about what I was doing, instead of taking action then about the drain-line.
Ordered three more bottles and stored them under the sink with the turquoise plunger, just in case.

It works!

This stuff is awesome. Don't waste your money on buying Draino and others that don't work. I live in one of the oldest apartments in my city, so of course a clogged bathtub drain comes with the territory. I tried Max strength Draino..nothing. So I ventured on Amazon and saw this had good ratings. Decided to try it and I'm glad I did. No more clogged bathtub!!!! I don't have to stand in 6inches of backed up water anymore when I take a shower! Woot!!!
