Great value for the money. It's not the best leather and the stitching isn't top-notch, but it's rugged and won't fall apart.
If you have a badge you transfer regularly to and from a uniform shirt, the velcro will save you tons of time. If you need a badge holder and you aren't worried about putting on and taking off the badge on a regular basis, I'd skip this item and go with this one instead: Safariland 7350-01-2 Circular Badge Holder, Black, Plain
For those of you with particularly "tight" pin catches on your badges, here's a tip: use the "hollow" end of your handcuff key to turn the clasp open/close. Makes getting the badge on and off this holder much easier.

The badge holder itself is well made and serves its purpose. It is a bit of a pain to take the badge on and off as I only use it for off Duty. It irritated me that the chain was broken upon arrival. I received an email to send feedback to the company. When I sent the information the company emailed me back and passed the buck onto amazon. Sounded like the start of a run around, so I'll head to walmart to get a new chain. I will not buy from this company again.

My badge fits well with this design, the only down fall is that I didn't even get it out of the packaging before the necklace piece of it broke. Will have to replace that. Otherwise, it serves its purpose.

Very nice,from what i can see,its heavy and built pretty tough,the holders metal belt clip is stiff,and i really like how there's velcro holding the front piece where you attach your badge too,with a heavy duty grommet. It seems to be made very well,my only concern is my badge will actually fit,as it was ordered for me through the Bond Agency i work for,but we will see. From first glance looks like it will do the job nicely.
