I saw some negative reviews saying they didn't make a difference, maybe they didn't freeze the cubes? I freeze mine and use them in my morning coffee. For this they are great. Three will cool my coffee down so I can drink my coffee immediately (I use a contigo vacuum sealed mug so it then stays at the right temp). I use a Keurig machine on the largest cup setting. These work well for meeting and the quality of the cubes are high. They have a nice Polish to them and are filled with a fluid (water I assume) which works a lot better at cooling since you leverage the energy consumed to force a phase change (solid to liquid) when you drop it in the coffee
