What a great addition to a small snake's home.

My cornsnake looks like a happy dragon guarding a golden egg in this moss cave. He loves it. Holds moisture really well too and makes his new enclosure look amazing.
Five Stars

My frog loves it
Not great.

This serves its purpose but the moss falls all over and the chain and hooks on the side were both broken when it arrived.
hopefully that will be a better fit.

It was a little bigger than I thought (my own miscalculation). Too big for our tortoise terrarium. I have now ordered the 4" one, hopefully that will be a better fit.
It does come with a chain and hook so you can hang the hide in like a bird cage or something

So, this is a lot bigger than I thought it was. I'm not taking off any stars, though, because that was my fault. It's probably the size of a small cantaloupe. I can fit my fist into the opening. So if you wanted a hide that you can reach into to get your pets out of, this would work.
It does come with a chain and hook so you can hang the hide in like a bird cage or something, but it hangs so that the opening is facing upward, toward the ceiling. A little twist-tie and DIY magic lets you tighten the chain around the sphere so it faces the way you want. So that isn't really an issue. Or you can rig your own suspension system with hemp, string, yarn...whatever. The clip it hangs from is a little thick, though, so it doesn't fit on mesh screens for reptile terrariums.
I bought this for my crested gecko, so it's actually sitting tucked between some branches and fake vines, instead of hanging. She seems to like climbing inside, on top of, and under it lol.
