Decent needles!
Elizabeth S. Marmorstein✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 8, 2018
I bought these on a whim, since they were cheap for a whole set, but they are actually pretty decent needles.

I noticed complaints in the other reviews about the sizes - they are accurate. The labeled sizes don't correspond at all to US sizes or metric sizes. They don't quite line up with UK sizes either, as far as I can tell. The actual needles sizes don't match the description in the listing either. In US sizes, the needles I received are approximately: us 8, us 6, us 6 (these two are not exactly the same size, but they are both closer to 6 than any other us size, definitely not 7 or 5), us 4, us 3, us 2, us 2 (again, non-identical 2s), us 1, us 0, us 00, us 000. This is a bit of a nuisance, but if you have a needle size gauge you can size them yourself.

The case, as mentioned by another review, has Asian characters on the front - I'm not sure what language or what they mean. No English anywhere. That doesn't really bother me though.

The needles are a silver-colored metal (I assume aluminum). Tips are average, not super sharp. The cables are surprisingly good for cheap needles! They are very similar to the Chiaogoo circular cables - fine metal braid with some sort of plastic coating to make it smooth. The cables are flexible, with very little memory. The needles (I ordered the 80CM size) are approximately 32" from tip to tip.

Overall, these are pretty decent needles. They are nicer than the Boye needles available at Walmart, and quite a bit cheaper in this set. They make a great backup set or budget starter set for a beginner (along with a gauge). I will probably buy another set in the shorter lengths.
Love these!

These arrived promptly, and just in time for all the hats I am knitting to give as Christmas presents. As others have noted, these have blunter tips than many, and that is one of the best features for me and the way that I knit. I have tried many kinds and these work the best. I use my fingers a lot to push stitches off the needles and the sharper ones hurt! The bamboo ones are the worst, but I have the same trouble with other wood, metal, and acrylic ones. After an hour or two my fingers are very sore and tender, but not with these needles. For such inexpensive needles, they are amazingly good quality. Although the tips are more rounded, I have had no trouble getting under the stitches, even when knitting two together or knitting one stitch front and back, and have not had any problem with yarn splitting. The joins are smooth and the stitches slide easily over them. The cables are sturdy but flexible. So far I have used 4 of the larger ones (I went through the case with my handy needle sizing gauge and a Sharpie and labeled each one with the correct U.S. size) and could not be happier with them. I wish these were available with larger than U.S. Size 8. I would like to them in 9, 10, and 11, too.
I love them for the price.

I love them so much. I was happy to find the small to the size 8 us size. I seen that others said misleading on size. I do t know how when the description of them was a 1.5mm to 5mm which if you look up the conversion table it shows mm to US, UK and a couple more units. I will be buying the next size that has the bigger needle just have to find them again on here. Not bad at all for 12.99 when I have bought a set of just two needles for almost 20 dollars. So I am happy about this find on here.
Great quality/ value

I am more than happy with these needles! They knit just about as well as Addi Turbos but the price is less for the set than one Turbo. The needles have a good point and the joins and cables are really good quality. I used a couple of different needle gauges and all but one were right on. The one that was off was quite close so it wouldn't be an issue. The needles come in a case with British needle size stickers. I took a sharpy and wrote the American and metric size on the pouch. I'm going to be buying more!
I actually really like these for them being such an inexpensive set

I actually really like these for them being such an inexpensive set. The sizes are definitely off on a few, but most are accurate. My set has a needle that's somewhere between a 3.5mm and a 3.75 mm, for instance. It doesn't perfectly fit either size. The joins are very smooth though, and the needles themselves are ok. The cables are flexible as well. I don't care for how blunt the tips are, tbh, but the entire set is definitely usable and way better than expected for the price. I say buy with confidence if you just want to bulk up your set, but don't buy if you're looking for specific sizes.
