This bread is a good bread replacement if you have problems with gluten. It was packaged to preserve freshness. The taste was palatable. It toasted to a crisp texture. If you are expecting the taste and texture of bread that upsets your digestive system or promotes arthritis pain, then you will be disappointed. But for a healthier choice, this bread is very exceptional substitute.

And amazingly well made product. I've had celiac disease for 20 years. I've tried every single one out there, including Judy's. That has a big market share but Schar is much much better. Just trust me. It's worth a little bit extra money.

My favorite GF option, but not the same. It's less dense, less white and just not as good. I hate to give it less than a 5, because I can rarely buy it locally, so ordering is my only option and I'd hate for them to discontinue it. Still, wish they'd back up a recipe or fix whatever is different now.
