Great educational game for preschoolers and kinder kiddos

This is such a great game for 3-5 year olds who are just learning letters, sounds and rhyming. It is engaging even if they are not familiar with the cartoon that it is based upon. I've used it with students at school and now I'm using it with my own daughters. The game pieces are very small so be very aware if you have very young children.

This game is pretty tricky for my young 4 year old who loves the Super Why TV show. I don't think it is age appropriate. The letter ID questions are easy for him, but the questions about rhyming words and word replacement are more challenging. I'm certainly not an expert, but I think this game will be more appropriate in a year or two.

My son is 4 years old and he absolutely loved it! He was able to read all the words, rhyme and spell them. They are phonetically appropriate words for his age like "pig"and "log". He also loved the finger puppets.

I have to say, I wasn't expecting much when I opened this box, but it turns out that it's a really well-done game that helps my four-year-old get familiar with how letters function. And I even enjoy playing it! I'm not an educator or anything, but I can see the wheels turning as she learns about alliteration, rhymes and sounding out letters.
