3 or 4 hundred dollar bow for $140 after tax. 60#

First time ever with a recurve or any bow for that matter besides a one time encounter with a 70# compound Bear bow that i just shot once or twice in the air. After 2 misses with my new Courage recurve at 15-17 yards I hit 10 🎯 in a row using an old 12x12 inch pillow with black magic marker drawn as target. I then stepped back anothe 2-3 yards and hit the pillow every single time with a 🎯 now and then. The pillow was leaning up against a tree and the arrow went completely through the pillow and atleast 4 or more inches inside the tree. Hard to pull out but when I did there was sap on tip it went so deep. This is a high quality bow for $140 after tax. I get so lucky with Amazon. When I see bad reviews I wonder if ppl are just having bad days. Highly recommend this bow.
Tip.....know your draw weight.
Awesome quality just missing one thing

The bow is pretty clean shooting, I got the 60# right hand and have not had problems with it. One thing that kinda threw me off is that it never came with the rug rest. I'm relatively new to archery and didn't really know what a rug rest was.
Great bow for the price!

This is the second bow that I have bought and it blows away my first one. I got the 35lb draw strength so I'm basing my review on that
Good bow, good price.

I bought this bow for my significant other. We both are novice archers and wanted inexpensive, yet not "cheap" bows. This bow, for the dozen or so times we've gotten to use it so far, has been working great. Two keep the limps from turning when in place, it uses to simple metal pegs set into the base that fit tightly into dimples in the limbs; this design is simple, sleek, and an elegant solution when compared with my other takedown bows (the Samick Sage and the Martin Jaguar) which use a clunky-looking metal sheath to stop the limbs from rotating.

The reason I drop a star from this bow, however, is that the screw that is used to secure either limb requires an allen wrench to tighten (which they include). Both my Samick Sage and Martin Jaguar I have use a thumb screw (screw with a really broad head) so you can assemble and disassemble the bow without any tools. That said, both the Jaguar and the Sage were about $20 more expensive than this bow. Maybe getting those screws made just costs a lot? Regardless, though, having to keep track of an allen wrench in my pack is a pain that could easily be avoided if this bow had hand-tightened screws.

All-in-all though, it's a good bow. If you plan on leaving it assembled most of the time; there are really no cons that I am immediately aware of.
Great bow! Upper limb not flush with riser though.

(This review is for the 50# version.)

This bow arrived on time and in great condition and I absolutely love it! Since I've received it I've taken it out almost every day for at least one hour of practice and it shoots great. Somewhat strong vibration and a tad noisy, but nothing terrible and for target practice it's not an issue at all. The little arrow rest is nice and hasn't come off as I've read on some other reviews.

I do have TWO issues with it but, not sure if it actually is an issue.
The upper limb does NOT sit flush on the riser. The pictures don't show as well as I'd hoped but, you can see. The bottom limb is flush so, it's noticeable. I've been shooting and it hasn't caused any problems at all.
The other is that the two receivers to screw the bolts in have chips (pictures as well) but, this has shown to cause no issue with tightening at all. Just thought I'd be thorough in my review.

The bow is beautiful and feels great to hold. So far the string has held up perfectly and I am very satisfied.

4 stars due to my two issues with the bow. I did email customer support on the SAS website, hope to hear back soon!
