The straw was great for about 3 weeks. Then literally one day it just stopped working. Nothing changed - the bottle hadn't been dropped, the lid never went thru the dishwasher - but the straw started pulling in more and more air to the point that I was not able to get water out to drink! I'm so disappointed - I loved this lid and even bought one for a gift for someone else. Now here I am returning it less than a month later because it stopped working :( Boo.

I love my Hydro Flask, but it was missing something. A friggin straw is what! This straw also comes with tremendous customer support (see end).

This was purchased on August 31, 2016 and it's been used daily since. It has endured drops, calcium build up, more drops, unsanitary conditions, and MORE drops. The straw has held on like a champ. It's easy to clean, just get one of those straw cleaners. Mine has only ever been used for water; sometimes with lemon. If you experience leakage and it hasn't been wrecked because you dropped it with the straw up then try cleaning the little nipple piece! The calcium build up can leave space for water to escape.

I actually paid more for this than what it is now and would gladly pay that again.

About a week ago I dropped it (again) and the little nipple piece disappeared. At first I was just going to continue using it as is with the risk of leaks, but yesterday I decided to reach out to The Coldest Water about replacement parts. Today I found out they're sending me an entirely new cap! It was less than 12 hours from first contact to get this wonderful news. I don't rave, but I'll rave about this company. PLUR &The Coldest Water 4 LYFE!

Update to review. Seller responded to review and offered to make things right. I must say that I have been burned more than once and have become pretty frustrated! However, I realize that the rating should reflect the seller, not the product. Seller shipped fast as promised and took the time to respond - very appreciated!!
Disappointing. When you suck on the straw you get more air than beverage. Also leaks badly if the bottle tips over....such a bummer!

We have klean kanteens in a variety of sizes (12 oz, 18oz, and 40oz) at our house. My first grader has a hard time unscrewing the standard lid when at school. We switched to the sports tops, but both kids chewed up the silcone spouts and even before that the lids leaked when knocked sideways in the backpack. These lids came with two 10 inch straws which we cut to size. Since the mouth width is the same on all bottles and we had 4 straws, we can interchange the straws on the lids and the straw top works on all of them. When I first ordered two, one of them had an air leak. I emailed the company and they immediately offered to send a replacement. Their reply was prompt and their customer service was exceptional.

I purchased "The Coldest Water" bottle (linked down below) about a month ago and I love it! I use it everyday throughout work and school and even at home! I love how the water stays cold even after leaving it in my car exposed to the sun for hours! Does not leak one bit and really easy to screw on cap and use the mouth piece.

After 3 weeks into using this, i actually came across a minor problem, The flow of the water was effected due to a air hole in the top mouth piece. I tried changing the straw out but no luck. I reached out to the seller and i got an immediate response and they said they would replace it!

I am so pleased with their quality of the product and the customer service! I would recommend any user to purchase this specially if you love cold water! Aside from the amazing features absolutely admire the look of the bottle i purchased the Black with turquoise accent.
