This can hold even fairly large bottles. I bought it for sightseeing in FL so that I can always have water in the heat. Gave it only 4 stars because I think the little pocket in the front should be a bit bigger. I was hoping to fit my phone in there so that I wouldn't have to carry a purse (women's clothes don't always have pockets you know). This bag would be perfect if that pocket was just a bit bigger to handle the larger phones on the market these days.

I purchased the larger water bottle carrier and liked it so much that I've ordered a second one. It is made well, though I did have to tie off a couple threads along a seam. I'm using a 32 oz Nalgene bottle, and it does a decent job insulating it, but I do partially freeze the water bottle when it is really hot out. The front pocket easily holds my phone (which is in a large wallet type case), keys, pen, and a small bottle of aspirin with room to spare. The loops on the side make it easy to attach small items (like a rain poncho in a ziploc bag) using a carabiner.

I have purchased, and returned, a couple water tote/bag combos. I figured out the problem was that everyone puts the strap on the bag part and not the water bottle part. This throws off the center of gravity as the water bottle when filled is going to be heavier and it so the whole bag continually tips when you're wearing it. This company finally put the strap on the RIGHT side. It holds everything I need and really my only complaint is that the flat zip pocket needs to be 1/4 inch wider, its difficult to jam a credit card in there and get it back out. (it works, it's just could be easier) Everything else is just perfect.
