Good for homebrewing: keg/carboy cleaning and immersion chilling.

Decent pump. I use it as part of a keg/carboy washer when brewing, and plan to replace the inferior one on immersion chiller for indoor wort chilling in a sink. Off one star because the feet are cheap and don't want to stay on it, but it may not be designed for frequent moves. I wish the outlet was a standard tapered pipe thread instead of the weird o-ring sealed straight thread, but the included adapters do work.

I bought this to use as a recirculating pump for cooling wort and it works really well for that. I'm sure you could use this for all sorts of applications, but it will help you chill your wort faster than you otherwise would be able to. Recommend it, quiet, moves a good volume of liquid, no hassles. The extra hose bibs for different size tubing is nice too.

This was a second attempt at finding a pump suitable for a small garden fountain. First one I bought was a weakling. This one really puts out the water (there's a video from another buyer here that gives a very good shot of it pumping like crazy). Quiet and powerful, so much I had to put a combination of ball valves on it to regulate the flow. Great pump and a great price.

I use this to refill my 55 gallon aquarium after water changes. I fill two large 18 gallon storage tubs with the right temperature water, dechlorinate it, and then use this pump to pump the water into the aquarium. It's way better than sloooowly, carefully trying to dump multiple 5 gallon buckets of water back into the tank because that disturbs the sand substrate and makes a huge mess. This one has a fast enough flow I'm not taking a full hour but the flow is gentle enough that if I direct the flow onto a rock the sand is not disturbed. And I'm also not spilling water everywhere with the heavy buckets.

This is a great pump on my 50gal. Sea clear. I was a little worried to shut the sump down at first not knowing if Id end up with a reverse siphyon, but no need its a great pump my overflwo is 250 g/p/h and it handles it like a champ well worth the money.I have a control vaulve between the pump and the tank and I can pretty much set it half way and it keeps the sump flowing. Good pump save $$$
