Very good heavy-stapler

I purchased both the 350 as well as this model, because they were on clearance sale thinking I could use one and give the other as a gift. I should have tested them immediately because when I tried to use the 350 on a project, the number of misfires and jams made me think I had a lemon. Unfortunately the 550 was only marginally better. I suspect that shooting into the ideal material, at the perfect angle and with the perfect setting, these things will actually set "some" staples properly. My fault for not being wary of the "multi-use" label. Both are in the garbage as I could not bear the thought of subjecting anyone else to the aggravation.
Dewalt is junk since black and decker bought them out. NEVER AGAIN!

Junk! Straight out of the package. Loaded it up with staples. It jams, shoots double staples, and even pops open by itself while shooting a staple.

Good multi tool in one sturdy and dependable

Well, it is a good stapler but it's too powerful even when you adjust to do a certain things. I bought it to install a bell but anytime that I used it to staple the wire it broke it and also it can't do corners.
