Works for my Application

Oddly, this little tool works great form my strange application. I use it to clean the oxidation off of copper PCB traces prior to soldering to the pads. In my lab I have a need to solder very small connectors under an inspection microscope. The pads are not plated but exposed copper. The copper gets tarnished during the production process. I learned this trick of using a pensile eraser to clean the tarnish off of exposed copper traces. This tool makes the process much easier and more controllable in tight locations.

I needed something that would erase well without smearing my adult coloring books. I had seen this eraser used in several YouTube video tutorials. I decided to take a chance & I am very happy with it. I practiced on some copy paper with both Prismacolor & Faber-Castell pencils. The eraser made quick work of lightly colored lines, even reds & blues. In places where I had layered, I was able to take off as many or few of the layers as I wanted! I learned that it is important to use quick, light touches to the paper. If you hold the eraser to the paper too long, the tooth of the paper is destroyed & you won't be able to lay down any pencil color. This works well for Johanna Brasford, Denise Klette, Creative Haven, ColorIt, & other fine coloring books. I recommend using the eraser lightly on any other book, after testing a back page.
The eraser head itself is great, there is hardly any wear showing & I have used it quality a bit - decided to completely erase focal point of page as to change color palette!
Great price & I really like this company. I have bought other products from them and they are top notch.

Not just for fixing mistakes: the right eraser can enhance your art and add lighting effects!

Strange name, but great little addition to my drawing toolbox. Makes erasing a breeze! It's very gentle on even thin tracing paper (25lb/41gsm) and doesn't tear it. It is precise too, the edges are small and the circumference of the erases is narrow enough to where you can make precision erasing easy. This is enhanced by the fact that, with small erasures, you don't have to scrub back and forth like you would with a rubber block eraser or pencil tip erasure. You can make an erasure line with one, clean stroke. This is crucial if you want to make "erase" a line into an area of solidly colored graphite, such as erasing the circumference around a head of hair to show light shine. Totally changes the way you erase. Saves you effort and really boosts what you can do as an artist with an eraser.
And so inexpensive, I'm curious what makes the electric erasers that cost 3-4X as much any better. Doesn't eat batteries too quickly, but I use my Eneloop rechargeable NiCad batteries so I don't pollute the environment. If you use it to replace your regular large eraser, you will burn through eraser tips, so I recommend holding on to your Mars Plastic/Staedtler or whatever you use.

I didn't think this would really make much of a difference with Prismacolors, but I was wrong and very happy to admit it

Working in Prismacolors (both premiers and verithins), it can be extremely difficult to remove the wax layers when trying to erase, and more often than not, you end up smudging the edges and ruining crisp lines. I've never had an electric eraser before and thought that it would be a nice accessory to have, but definitely nothing groundbreaking that would truly impact my drawings.
I was wrong.
This electric eraser is a tremendous tool to have on hand and I am truly surprised by how well it works with colored pencils - especially Prismas. Of course when you are about 20 layers deep on certain areas, this won't remove everything and make the paper brand new, but it certainly will create excellent highlights that are often better than when I try to use whites to get the same effect. Erasing areas with 10 or fewer layers of wax (and I have a decently heavy hand), you can get pretty much pure paper showing through again.
Ohuhu is not a brand I've ever used before, but they certainly made this product well. I've also used it with my Staedler, Derwent and Royal graphite pencils, and all of these had great results as well.
For a product I didn't think anyone really needed, and a brand that I didn't have any reason to trust, I was pretty blown away by the results. If you're questioning getting one yourself, do it. Even if it's not perfect (although I personally have clearly had excellent results based one what I mentioned before), you will definitely be happy to have this at your side.
My ONLY (literally only) complaint so far is that the eraser tips can slide down/into the grip slowly if you push excessively hard, but it's such a slow occurring problem that only happens when I'm pressing down with more force than I should be anyways, I can hardly complain at all.
A+ tool to have if you use Prismacolors
A+ quality from a brand I've never even heard of before trying this eraser
Stellar job, Ohuhu! You've earned my trust!
