Came with KNOCKOFF power supply
switchfoot428•January 17, 2018
Shady seller or shady product... either way. power supply that came with it was supposed to be Type II.
It even shows on the box(the double square emblem)
That it's supposed to include a type II power supply BUT check out the markings on the power supply....do you see the duble square"Connect only to grounded outlet".
So now I get to waste 3 more days and another $15 on a proper power supply. Now I'm questioning wether I even got a legitimate product.
but hey, at least they saved a few bucks.
I'll update if I find out one way or the other.

I use this to power my pair of Micca MB42X and they sound great. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants the same speakers. The volume knob is great and easy to move around, I barely go past 1/3 for listening to music in my room. Easy to use and set up and great for the price.
Clearly a Bargain

This amplifier is a genuine bargain. I coupled my new SMSL amp with some Pioneer SPBS 22 speakers and the result is amazing. Clear, somewhat bright, sound with a superb soundstage. I hear no distortion. If 20 watts per channel will suffice for your system, you cannot go wrong with this amp.
Not the chip advertised.

This is not a TPA3118D2. It is a TDA7492PE on a v3.5 board. Amp works fine for my 2.0 computer setup. No pops or static.
UPDATE 2/24/2017: Paired this with a Polk Audo PSW10 subwoofer. WOW! Turned up to max, not distortion. Sounds great. Added one star, even though this is not a TPA3118D2.

Does anyone get a legit product?

Impossible to get what you order. Amp was advertised to come with a 24v PSU but came with a 12v; moreover the back of the amp states it operates between 12-15v. Opened it up and sure enough the chip is a tda7492pe and not a 3118 as advertised. So, basically regardless of the price or seller you may or may not get the same unit as someone else. If you order something, anything, that runs on electricity you would expect the proper PSU and voltage requirements to not be a guessing game. Imagine if you bought a PC and it came with an underrated PSU and a different CPU. This is no different.
