Order this skirt by the size chart. I am 5'9", 145 pounds and never wear a large. My waist is 34 inches, however, and the chart listed that as size large and it fits perfectly. The material is a soft, thick winter weight cotton ragg with generous length. Just the thing for a cold day with boots. The set-in pockets are a fashion plus and add an elegant touch.

This skirt is seriously so comfy! I received many compliments at my family event. Did fit rather long and large on my 5'8" size 10 hourglass frame -- I ordered a L, was a bit loose on my waistline, and reached almost as a maxi dress. With heels, it looks great, but was much longer than expected.

I really love this skirt. I have a high thick waist (38") and slightly narrower than normal (44") hips. The XL fit perfectly. The length is more maxi than midi on me and I am tallish (5' 7") but I like that. I spend a lot of time wearing skirts outside in the winter and this skirt is perfect for that. Ordering was a bit confusing because the seller is advertising 2 different styles under one name, so sizing is different depending on which one you order. That's the only reason that I'm not giving 5 stars.
