I ordered this hat on June 5, needing a few head coverings following surgery that required my head to be shaved. I originally saw it on Amazon last January when arrangements for my procedure were first made and really liked it, but was concerned by reviews mentioning how long it took to arrive and the potential for damage in shipping. Like everything else, Covid-19 changed my surgery plans so I did nothing further about this hat until Jun 5, and was again bothered by the previous reviews"”they were actually very helpful in that some of the negative info really helped me. I ordered this hat on June 5, was told to expect it in late July and figured there was likely to be some shipping damage. But when I opened my very carefully wrapped shipping package, 5 days later, I found the hat in perfect, pristine condition!! It is just as pretty as in the ad and if I had to have my head shaved, I'm pretty happy to be getting something this nice out of it! BTW, this hat came from Europe and is made in China so there here was a lot of handling involved, which may be why others had problems. So I paid extra for expedited shipping and it was definitely worth it (about $18.00 I think) My hat came really fast and in great condition. My thanks to the seller!!

It fits nice. It is soft but I live in Florida and my head got pretty warm pretty quick. If you are going to get this hat for warm places, you will need to get a beanie to wear underneath

I have had so many compliments when I wear this hat! Everyone says it reminds them of the 20's. They tell me how cute it is! I wear it mostly on rainy or windy days. But I wear it often!

The style is similar to women's hats worn in the show "All Creatures Great and Small." It is large but it has threads in it that make it easy to adjust to make it fit. I love wearing mine on cold, breezy days.

I'm so in love with this hat! I was worried it would arrive smashed in the box or bag, but it was nicely packaged with a plastic insert to hold it's shape. I love the deep wine color, and the rosette on the side. The quality is excellent. I found a great dress on Amazon to wear with it (the same wine color with white polka dots). I'm planning on wearing it to a book club 1930s tea party I'm hosting.
