This stick horse was very disappointing. The stick itself is pv pipe. The pipe moves around in the head of the horse. It's not real stable in that area. The cloth that covers the pipe is a tight fit. It was difficult to get the cloth to the base of the stick, and once I got it into place, it doesn't cover the entire end. There is a piece of velcro at the base, and it's a stretch to get it to close over the end.

I bought this for my neighbors 2nd birthday. At first I was taken back that the stick part was made of 2 pieces of PVC and wasn't sure I liked it. I was looking forward to a little more old fashioned type. However as soon as I wrapped it with the stick unassembled I realized how easy this was going to be for keeping it stored to keep her room clean. As far as I can tell, this toy has been stored. I see this sweet little girl playing ride'em cowboy up and down her porch all day. I it very well made and of good quality. Honestly, I forgot to check the sound before I gave it away. For an added bonus it came FAST!

Very cute stick horse. My nephew is afraid of the sounds it makes but that is not the horse's fault. Good size, Good quality.
