A pill organizer for me?
Jeff-Terri•June 10, 2017
"You know you're getting old when..." your wife insists that you make use of a daily reminder for your medications. As a man, it's not an "old" thing, it's a "denial" thing. Living in denial of the need to take excellent care of oneself is great, for the short term. Unfortunately, there is a dear wife nearby that is amazingly selfish of keeping that person around for a rather extended period of time.
This organizer is quite useful as it sits on the end of the counter as I pass by each morning. I see the colors, even in the dimly lit room. Once there, I know the importance of grabbing the bottom case and beginning the morning ritual of taking the right medication to get through the start of the day. The rest of the day falls into line as the clock progresses. At the end of the day, you simply slide the case into the top of the holder and enjoy a good night's rest.

Well designed and easy to use

I purchased the Thassio pill organizer to replace a more traditional "stacked" organizer. Other AM/PM style organizers, I have found, can be difficult to fill. They generally have a "hinged" top that doesn't stay fully open or are difficult to open. As a result, my fat fingers struggled to place pills in the small opening resulting in pills hitting the top or side and bouncing out.
The Thassio's design is more intelligent because the top for each day slides off to reveal the 4 compartments (Morn,Noon,Eve,Bed). Each compartment is large enough to hold several small - medium size pills or a few larger pills. The stacked design takes up less space on my counter, and the compactness of the daily container makes it more portable. The added pill splitter and travel case are a nice bonus!
This is the third pill organizer I've tried in the last couple of years and it definitely has a great design and high quality build.

Easy to read and take with you!

I needed a pill box that was portable and yet large enough to accommodate large vitamin pills! It is very easy to sit down once a week and fill and you are set for the week. The top slides over the pill compartments and allows you to access one compartment at a time, Morning, Noon, Eve or Bed so it alleviates confusion about what to take when. The labels are printed in black and very easy to read. Each tray has the corresponding week day on it, also printed in black. If you fill the 'tower' from the bottom up it will allow you to slide the day out one at a time with the help of a finger. I first filled it so you pull out the trays from the bottom but it works better if you slide them from the top and put the empty trays in on the bottom. The separate trays are about 4" long, a half of an inch tall and, about an inch deep. It is very easy to slide one out and take it for the day in pocket or purse! I would recommend this to a friend and have...I was NOT compensated in any way for this review.
Love it!

This is the second one I have purchased I originally ordered one for our 13 yr old how unfourtantly takes several pill through out the day. I especially like
the different colors for each day
The small foot print- her pills stay out in the kitchen and it fits well into the cupboard
I stock this weekly so bulk pill bottles go back in the bathroom
We have a three year old the struggle was what could I get that didn't clutter the cabinet or could sit on the counter that wasn't extremely easy for the three year old to get into. (She doesn't even know they are there their kept hidden in top shelf of cupboard behind other items- however if by chance the 13 yr left it out on the counter bla bla bla u get it) THIS IS NOT CHILD PROOF- but for my household it works great with a bit of common sense- If by chance they got left out it would be a struggle for a small child to access it. Far more comfortable with this design vs a long row one that just pops open and instant access
I feel an ederly or arthritic person could have the dexterity to access this
The slides on the cases themselves can be a bit annoying g to slide on occasion but have found after a month of use they work easier and in the beginning I would push more down when I was trying to slide I realized (duh) push more over this prevents the it from getting stuck
I LOVE that she can pop out that day's worth of pills still in the container, know exactly what pills to tk and when great for sleep overs drop in her bag and go they have never came open.
This is common sense but sometimes I don't have that- as I was stocking the pills for the first time please be aware if ur holding case in front of you you should see i.e. Monday and on the slide reads left to right morning through bedtime (see photo 2) IF BY CHANCE THAT SLIDE GETS TAKEN OFF AND REVERSED u will be taking morning pills at night etc see (photo 3) I say this bc yes you know what ur pills look like and what times ur taking them and u SHOULD NOTICE this but kids even adults not paying attention etc this could happen As a nurse just feel like I should say that and as a mom too (lol) I still gave it 5 stars bc no matter the design wrong med consumption is always possible just thought I'd note it
Bc I loved the product so much I purchased another for myself. I did notice for me I had to put a morning capsule in the noon slot bc if all 4 morning capsule were not placed just right it was difficult for slide to close. It's fine for m bc I don't tk that many supplements/'scripts but might be a deal breaker for some ppl I include a pic of this as well.
Over all it's made well, has held up and it has REALLY REALLY simplified dosing my daughter and helped her feel more independent with me still being able to just at a glance see if she has taken her meds

Best pill organizer I've found
Lady-in-Maryland•June 22, 2016
I tried many pill organizers before I found this one. It's not perfect but I found it works best for me.
Pros:
Compact and easy to store (especially compared to other pill organizers)
Keeps all containers together ( they don't easily fall out everywhere)
Easy to open - even if you have trouble with your hands - The top simply slides off.
Very smart design
Easy to travel with - either a single day or a whole weeks worth of meds
Bright colors, unique for each day
4 compartments for each day
Cons
If you take mostly supplements or many large pills, they may not all fit
The extra items included are cheaply made
Overall this was the best pill organizer for me and I absolutely love it . I tried to avoid using a pill organizer for a very long time and I could never remember if I had taken my pills. Now use this as well as a medication reminder app to make sure that I take on my meds on time, every day.
