I just was thinking I might replace the one I bought 5 years ago and used every winter in Minnesota. It's not ripped but I might have peace of mind with a new one.

Fits 2023 R POD RPT171-47. R POD has roof mount A/C, cover fits well. Not the heaviest fabric. We will see how long it holds up.

We just finished our first install of this cover on our '17 RP-180. Contrary to another poster's comments it had plenty of room to fit our rig with the 13.5 Dometic A/C AND the Thule box awning. My gal and I were able to put it on the first time in 20 minutes with only about 1 expletive per minute and not stepping foot on the roof. This will improve if I ever remember I need a new step ladder (so we'd have two).

As another poster indicated, it is rip-stop but THIN rip-stop material. I see pros and cons to the thinness of the material. The obvious potential con I can see is the question of durability. On the plus side, keeping the weight down and flexibility up makes a positive difference in getting it on the trailer! At this price point, a new cover ever 3-4 years wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I ding it one star due to the slight sloppiness when installed and lack of more available tightening points. The manufacturer gives you 2 buckles on each side and 2 straps to go under the belly of the trailer to connect them. This will be fine for us for short term coverage during the summer months. However, in our winters, when wind gusts can exceed 50mph, this will be inadequate. I already plan on getting some tarp clips to add additional rope or straps to get more tension on the cover, hopefully preventing it from wearing itself out too quickly in the winds.

I'll update this review if anything changes for better or worse.

Update: I just wanted to note that this cover lasted three years in our intense California sun and only met its demise when we had an uncharacteristic windstorm that lasted a few days. It held up well until then and I am ordering a second one. I was very pleased with this purchase! Following is my original review:

Having just completed a long trip and planning to store our R-pod 180 for a while, I wanted it to be protected from the elements. I am so pleased with this cover. It fits perfectly and was easy for me to install. I'm 5'4" and I did not need to climb on the roof to put it on by myself. (I do suggest you roll it out first as it is packed pretty tightly in the box; that will help it unfold more easily once it's on the trailer). I love the long zipper pulls that make it so easy to open the door while the cover is on. The enclosed toss bag made it really easy to get the straps underneath to secure. Don't know how it will hold up over time yet, but I am very impressed with how easy it is to use and how well it fits! That's a good start, because my experience is that if a cover is too hard to use it usually gets left in the box. So far, I highly recommend!

The fabric looks sturdier than I expected at that price point. I received it today and installed it right away while we still have dry weather. It fits my Tab 400 pretty well, the door doesn't align exactly but I can still get in and out of the camper if I need to. It's easy to install, I did it by myself and it took about 45 minutes. (66 year old female ) The hardest part was trying to figure out the orientation of the cover while unfolding it. It's not heavy. I couldn't afford the custom expensive Tab cover this year, and this one will do the job just fine until I save enough for the other one.
