Great for touch ups & making normal shoes look like Loubs

To start, I own several authentic Christian Louboutins. This paint was originally purchased to touch up their bottoms and it's a perfect match. Make sure you sand the edges of the patches you're painting to ensure a smooth transition between the two. Purchase the Angelus Acrylic Finisher and apply over the red after it dries. I suggest leaving the paint over night for best results as you really want it to be dry before glazing. This finisher will create that glossy shine like the authentic ones have. Also makes it last longer as it's a sealer/top coat.
Here's my bonus thing: with enough coats you can make any shoe look like an authentic CL. I personally have a really hard time wearing mine and prefer Gucci heels. I had an old pair of Gucci boots and decided to give it a try, they look gorgeous and I've gotten so many compliments on them! I've worn them out and the paint has held steady. Just remember to buy the Finisher and to be patient, it's worth the effort!

So I have a few pair of red bottoms and like any woman had no clue the red came off, so I bought this for my very first pair that was missing color. It is not an exact match but is very close, I found that it actually brings it together if you paint it two coats, let sit over night and then add zigzag tablet screen protectors to protect them (I do use that with all my red bottoms).
Just be careful not to bring the paint up to far back, I did accidentally and that is wear you can see the tone difference. It is worth the buy.
I found it great for craft projects, such as making things to look like a red bottom Example: Painted the bottom of my black heel tape dispenser.
At the end of the day anyone who owns a "real" pair KNOWS for a fact the red comes off, it's people who don't own the shoes who have no clue so they wouldn't know real from fake.
Just to hit on a comment from another review, someone asked "Why do you keep calling them red bottoms, they are Christian Louboutins", anyone who actually buys and owns them calls the red bottoms because that is what the trademark is!!

Perfect color match, not a smooth finish

My Louboutins have been well loved and I wanted to give them an easy touch up.
First, this project is almost an exact match in color. I used one coat for the bottom of my shoe and waited for it to dry. It definitely needed a second coat, but not as thick. Mostly just touch ups in the parts that were inconsistent in color. The package recommends that the bottom of the shoe be lightly sanded down, but that process may have added a texture that doesn't allow for a smooth finish of the color.
I posted a picture of my right shoe untouched and my left shoe painted with two coats. Hopefully it helps you to decide. Ultimately, this is a great product if you want to give your shoes a little touch up. But when it dries, don't expect a smooth shiny finish. I will be ordering the clear acrylic finisher from the same company. Hopefully that will restore the shine.

I bought Louboutins secondhand, as that was the only way I could afford them. The first picture is no paint, the second is around 2 layers, and the third is 5-6 layers. You can't tell they are damaged unless you are looking very closely. The paint is a very close match. This paint is very essential if you own these shoes, especially since the soles get worn easily.
AH-MAZING PRODUCT!

I wore my first few pair of CLs before considering applying sole protectors. I purchased this product to "restore" my soles & it actually did an amazing job. The color is not exact but it is a very close match. I used an 800 grit sandpaper then used alcohol to clean the sole before applying. The product was easy to use with a small sponge brush & dry time was not long at all. I used a total of two coats on each shoe.
